Irish Water is working in partnership with Meath County Council to repair a burst watermain impacting customers in Ferndale in Navan.
Crews are working to repair the watermain as quickly and as safely as possible. The repair is expected to be completed by 3.30pm, however, it may take 2-3 hours for normal water supply to return to all customers as the network refills.
Customers may be impacted by disruption to their water supply while the repair is underway but it is important to continue to follow the HSE guidance on hand-washing.
Irish Water and Meath County Council understands the inconvenience when a burst occurs and thanks customers for their patience while we work to repair the burst and restore normal supply to impacted customers. Irish Water and Meath County Council regret any inconvenience caused.
Irish Water is working at this time, with our local authority partners, contractors and others to safeguard the health and well-being of staff and the public and to ensure the continuity of drinking water and wastewater services.
