The Millbourne residents association in Ashbourne have welcomed Meath county councils decision to refuse developers Rybo permission to build three apartment blocks on the estates only green space.

Spokesman, David Brennan, told Meath Live, ‘What people have to be aware of is that this is actually the third time the developer has been knocked back but under law he is perfectly entitled to apply ad nauseum, which we believe is something that needs to be addressed, not for this developer in particular but for all developments in general.

‘There would also be a belief amongst residents that had Meath county council made the correct decision when this application came before them initially then this whole scenario may not have unfolded.’
