Duleek Fianna Fáil councillor Stephen McKee has called for further funding to implement traffic calming measures in the East Meath village.
He claims this is needed despite previous upgrade works in the villa
The local authority completed significant upgrades on the street over the last couple of years.
However, McKee says additional traffic calming measures are required.
He said, ‘At a council meeting later this week I’ll be calling for a pedestrian crossing to be put in place, at the moment locals are concerned about the traffic situation in the village.’
