Underdogs Moynalvey raced into a 6 point lead in the first fifteen minutes of this SFC clash at Trim on Friday night before suffering a bad blow when losing Padraic Harnan who sustained a serious shoulder injury

The winners lifted their game at this point and three points from Barry Dardis  brought them back into the game, going in at the break behind by 3points (0.6 0.9). It was Summerhill that got off to the better start in the second with points from Dardis, McCabe and Frayne putting them into a one point lead, but with 12 minutes left Moynalvey’s Cillian O’Sullivan converted a penalty and regained the lead to go two up that was the last score for Moynalvey. Despite loosing David Larkin to a black card late in the game  points from Dardis,Frayne and McCabe sealed the game for Summerhill..
