The closing date for applications to the Covid-19 club small grant scheme is Monday 31st of August at 3pm.

The scheme, implemented by the government through Sport Ireland, is designed to support clubs and physical activity groups who do not have the finances to provide Covid-19 hygiene and social distancing protocols.

Meath Local Sports Partnership is working with Sport Ireland to ensure the investment will be distributed fairly across the County. Efforts are being made to ensure all sports facilities within the community will benefit from the scheme.

To apply for the scheme groups must be based in Meath and affiliated with a Sport Ireland recognised National Governing body, a disability sports organisation, or operate as a, not for profit with whose primary focus is the encouragement of sport and physical activity. The club must also be open for public membership.
