Four people have been arrested in Trim after a spate of thefts from cars over the last few days.

Trim Gardai had been investigating the  incidents which took place from the 27th to the 31st of August.

Three suspects have now been identified after house to house enquiries were made and use of CCTV footage.

Trim and Navan Gardai carried out numerous searches in the south Meath town and have recovered property that they believe to have been stolen from the vehicles.

Four, male, suspects have been arrested and are currently detained in relation to the incidents.
