Gardaí investigating the discovery of a man’s body on the N51 at Harmanstown, Slane in early hours of Saturday morning, say they are not looking for any other person or vehicle, in connection with the incident.
It follows the results of a post mortem, which are not being released for operational reasons.
The deceased – who had been using an e-scooter, was found unconscious around 2.50am and was treated at the scene by paramedics but was later pronounced dead.
However, Gardaí at Navan are continuing to appeal for any witnesses or for anyone with information to come forward.
They want to hear from any road users who were in the area, between 1.30am and 3am on Saturday and who may have camera footage (including from dash-cams).
