Kia Motors have revealed a new logo and global brand slogan as part of a transformation programme, writes Brian Byrne.

In the language of logo designers, the new Kia ‘signature’ is a ‘rhythmical, unbroken line … conveys Kia’s commitment to bringing moments of inspiration, while its symmetry demonstrates confidence’.

A fireworks display launched by 303 drones in the skies above Incheon, South Korea, set up a new Guinness World Record.

The branding moves follow Kia’s ‘Plan S’, which is focused on popularising electric vehicles and introducing a broad range of mobility services, tailored to meet the needs and tastes of individuals and local markets.
