A man has been remanded in custody  to appear in court again next week over the discovery of €204,000 worth of drugs.

The seizure of cannabis herb was made as a result of a joint intelligence-led operation conducted by Revenue and Gardaí.

Andrew Gray (40) with an address at Kilmoorland Stud, Rathmolyon was charged at Trim District Court today with possession of drugs for sale or supply at Kilmoore, Rathmolyon.

Garda Sandra Kirwan gave evidence of arresting the accused.

Judge Cormac Dunne remanded the accused in custody at Cloverhill Prison in Dublin to appear appear at Trim District Court next Thursday, March 4th.
