The football community of Drogheda and surrounding areas has been saddened by the death of life long Drogheda United fan, Paul Dooley, whose brother Jim was a well known referee on the local scene and whose sons Graham and Richie played in the NEFL for a number of seasons.

 

Pauls funeral arrangements are as follows;

Dooley, Rowan Heights, Drogheda, Co. Louth. 4th March 2021. Peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Paul loving husband to Rose and dad to Graham and Richard. Sadly missed by his wife and sons, daughters in law Sarah and Luda, grandchildren, Evan, Emmett, Kyle and Daniel, brothers Jimmy, Declan, Gerry and David sister Catriona, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends. Rest in Peace.

In keeping with current Government guidelines regarding public gatherings, Paul’s Funeral will be private for family only ( limit of 10 people in the Church). Funeral cortege will pass Drogheda United Football Club on the way to Holy Family Church Ballsgrove on Monday morning at approximately 10:35 am.
