Navan continues to have the highest incidence rate of Covid-19 in Louth and Meath.
The latest data from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre estimates that the figure for the local electoral area (LEA) is 395 per 100,000 of the population, two and a half times the national average of 158.
Ashbourne follows closely behind with a rate of 313 while the lowest rate in Co. Meath is Ratoath at 108.
Ardee continues to have the highest incidence rate of the virus in Co. Louth at 158. However, this has fallen significantly from the 277 previously recorded in the LEA.
Drogheda Rural now has the lowest rate in the county at 101.
The latest figures refer to the two week period from March 9th to 22nd.
