Ratoath based councillor, Nick Killian has warned parents in the Ratoath area, that a new edible drug called ‘Stonepatch’ is being sold to teenagers by a local criminal. This comes after a distressed parent called him about their daughter being approached by this criminal.

Killian describes these drugs as “jelly babies” and said they are “cannabis infused sweets”. He stated that the Gardaí are worried about them. These drugs are available in the UK but are now coming into Ireland.

Killian praises the teenagers and believes they have the common sense not to touch these drugs, but believes there are a very small number of teenagers who are gullible enough to try and buy these drugs that are available in the village
