New cases of Covid-19 have fallen by 2 per cent over the past week.

In the past seven days, 2,870 cases have been confirmed – 61 fewer than the previous week.

That’s despite the ban on inter-county travel being lifted last Monday, along with several other measures.

Yesterday 360 new cases were reported.

The vaccination centre at Simonstown GFC in Navan is currently seeing  around 800 vaccinations being distributed daily.
