The impasse between Meath county council officials and Kells Credit Union over the suggested location of a new disabled ramp at the Credit Union premises in the town may be resolved early next week after a potentially decisive intervention by Fianna Fáil councillor Sean Drew.

Drew told Meath Live, “ It seems clear to me that all parties involved want the same outcome, they all want a ramp installed the only difference between them is where to actually put it.

“With that in mind, I have managed to convene a meeting that will bring officials from the Council and the Credit Union together to try and resolve the issue.

“Logic dictates that where all parties to a situation want to achieve the same goal then it can be done with a bit of common sense.

“I don’t want to pre empt anything about the possible outcome but I will be doing my best to get an arrangement in place that suits everyone”.
