Many Meath based Drogheda United fans will have known the late Paul Dooley a supporter of the club from the time they entered the League Of Ireland in 1963.

Paul who passed away during the early stages of the pandemic was diehard who travelled both home and away to see the Drogs and a group of fellow away day specialists, including his brother Jim a well known MDL referee, Damien Kavanagh and Anthony Kimmins, came up with the idea of paying tribute to Paul by having a United flag designed in his memory.
