There was all kinds of drama in a North Eastern Football League game in Drogheda last night when the referee issued five red cards and awarded three penalties. with some reports suggesting the Superior Racking & Shelving Division 3B clash between Chord Celtic and Ardee seconds ended early.

For the record Chord won the red card count 3-2 and were losing the match 3-1 when it finished.

The NEFL committee will of course look into it further.
