A 16-year-old boy has appeared before Navan District Court today charged with burglaries in Louth and Meath.
The teenager with an address in Tallaght, was arrested at Dublin’s Children’s Court yesterday.
Garda Mark Bartley Fitzgerald gave evidence of arresting the youth and charging him with burglary at a house at Woodfarm, Slane and Kilartry, Clogherhead. He said he was objecting to bail on the grounds that the accused was already on bail in relation to other charges.
Judge Cormac Dunne refused an application for bail and remanded the accused in custody to Dundalk District Court on July 22nd next on the Clogherhead chage and Trim District Court on July 26th next in relation to the Slane burglary charge.
