Meath…………………1-15

Louth………………….1-11

The Meath minor footballers have set up a Leinster final showdown with rivals Dublin after overcoming Louth last Saturday.

However, it was the Wee County who started the brighter of the two sides at Páirc Tailteann in Navan.

Aaron Hoey’s side led 1-6 to 0-8 at the break thanks to a Fionn Cumiskey goal just before the first water-break.

However the winners turned it around on the resumption.

Oisín Ó’Murchú found the back of the net from close range soon after the restart before the Royals went on to take control of the game.

Cathal O’Bric’s side racked up five points without reply before Meath eventually ran out four-point winners on a score line of 1-15 to 1-11.
