Gardai are investigating yet another vicious assault on Bettystown beach.
The latest incident happened last Tuesday evening when a young boy, who was on his own, was attacked by two other youths.
The attack came just weeks after local Mum Tania O’Neill led protests at a beachside rally to highlight the lack of Garda numbers in East Meath, after her teenage son and his friend were attacked by a large gang.
A Garda spokesperson told Meath Live ‘Gardaí attended the scene of an assault that occurred in Bettystown, Co Meath at approximately 7pm on the 3rd of August 2021.
One male juvenile aged in his teens received non-life threatening injuries as a result of this incident.
No arrests have yet been made and investigations are ongoing into this incident’.
