In a reply to queries from

Aontú leader Peadar Toibin, the National Transport Authority says consultants AECOM have completed a factual report in respect of the Navan Rail Line Assessment Study, and a decision on whether the rail line will be included in the NTA’s Transport Strategy will be made shortly.

A preliminary draft of the updated Transport Strategy will then be sent for public consultation at the start of November.

A final draft Transport Strategy will be concluded in a number of months following the initial public consultation.
