The aircraft maintenance company, Dublin Aerospace, has invested 12 million euro in the facility in Ashbourne.
The business based at Dublin Airport recently began overhauling aircraft landing gear at the new base.
The company is now recruiting electricians, technicians, mechanics, painters and other workers.
It is hoped the business will initially create 75 new jobs while the plant will employ 150 people once it is fully up and running.
The business began with 18 staff and now employs more than 500 people across Dublin Airport, Ashbourne, and Exeter in England, where it bought part of Flybe’s maintenance business last year.
