Now there are a large variety of clowns in every line of occupation around the county but it seems real clowns are in short supply.
Navan woman Diane Stapleton is short two clowns for tomorrow’s fancy dress parade fundraiser for Feile na Páisti which starts at the Solstice theatre at 5 pm.
Diane told Meath Live, ‘We have two clowns outfits and nobody to wear them, one of them will have big shoes to fill as it is an XXL size while the other is medium.
‘It’s a bit of craic and a bit of fun to raise money for a good cause, I’ve been desperately searching for two men to do the gig all week, I have even been trying to get numbers for Duffy’s Circus to no avail.
‘If anyone is kind of half thinking they might do it but are worried about being recognised well trust me in this gear nobody will know who you are.
‘Anybody who can help can contact me via my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/diane.stapleton.967.
‘Time is short so please somebody step up to the plate.’
