A man in his 30s has been arrested following a €1.63 million euro drugs seizure, as part of ongoing investigations targeting an organised crime group operating in the Dublin and Meath area.

155 kilos of cannabis and 35 kilos of herbal cannabis were recovered when a car was stopped and searched in the Clondalkin area yesterday.

The joint operation was conducted by officers from the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau and Revenue’s Customs Service.
