Lidl has announced plans to open a new store in Dunboyne.
The supermarket chain says the proposed development will bring up to 12 million euro in local investment and result in the creation of 30 new jobs.
The new store in Dunboyne is set to include a “spacious” sales floor, a café and retail unit as well as a carpark with EV charging points for customers.
The retail unit will be located on Main Street in the town adjacent to Saints Peter & Paul’s Church.
Lidl is now calling on local residents to submit their questions and feedback on the proposed development before it will hold a community briefing session later in the month.
