Supermarket giant Lidl has expressed their delight with how things went at this week’s public meeting with residents over their proposed new store in Dunboyne.

A spokeswoman told Meath Live, ‘The main objective for the meeting was to engage with the community regarding Lidl’s proposed plans for a new store in Dunboyne. We recognise the issues expressed by the community and we will take everything that was said into consideration going forward.

‘We have received both positive and constructive feedback from local residents and we would like to thank the community of Dunboyne for engaging with us thus far.

‘We remain committed to realising a store to serve the Dunboyne community and are reviewing our plans for this at present in line with the valuable feedback we’ve received.
