The AGM of Meath West Ógra Fianna Fáil Took place last Thursday at 8:00pm, The meeting was chaired by outgoing Deputy Chairperson Cllr Mike Bray & was attended by members from across the Meath West constituency.

The meeting was called to order by Meath West Chairperson Cormac Corr, subsequently the secretary Conor Finn was called on to read the minutes of last year’s AGM – following this Cllr Bray chaired the election of officers.
Incumbent chairperson Cormac Corr of Kilmainham, Kells, was re-elected to a fourth term as Chairperson. Outgoing secretary Conor Finn of Ballinabrackey was elected as Deputy Chairperson. Athboy’s Cian Harmon was elected as Secretary. Fintan Bray of Westmeath was elected to the new post of Equality and Policy officer. John Halton of Trim was elected as Press officer. Delvin’s Niall Gaffney was elected as Treasurer. and Timmy Teahan of Summerhill was elected as OCM.
Cllr Mike Bray was subsequently proposed for The position of honorary lifetime member and was elected unanimously – joining Cllr Aisling Dempsey and many other former members who have contributed hugely to Meath West Ógra over the last number of years.
Cormac Corr thanked the members for supporting his re-election as Chair & stressed that over the next term Meath West Ógra will remain as a proactive and progressive organisation at the heart of the Meath west constituency.
The meeting concluded with a presentation by Cllr Mike Bray on The work Fianna Fáil has been doing on a council level followed by a rundown on The recent work of Senator Shane Cassells in the Seanad.
