Kingscourt Stars player Jordan Morris has has had the red card he received against Dublin in the Leinster semi final debacle over turned on appeal.

However his Meath team mate Jack Flynn who was also red carded late on for a high challenge on Dubin’s JohnnyCooper llost his appeal and his one match ban stands meaning he will miss Saturday’s Ennis qualifier clash with Clare.

The news on Morris will be welcomed by manager Andy McEntee as the attacker top scored in the Dublin defeat  and also contributed two points when Meath beat the Banner by a narrow margin in this seasons’ league game in Cusack Park.

Saturday’s game throws in at 6 pm with Kildare referee Brendan Cawley in charge.
