The rest of the day will bring a mix of cloud and sunny spells in mostly light westerly breezes. Some scattered showers too, showers heaviest along the east coast where the odd one may be thundery. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees, best values in the east.

Showers will become more isolated overnight with some brief clear periods. However, patches of mist and fog will also set in, with just light westerly breezes. Towards morning, patchy drizzle will develop along west and northwest coasts. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees.

Friday will start off cloudy with patchy outbreaks of rain or drizzle early on. More widespread falls of rain will move into western areas through the morning. The rain will gradually spread eastwards in the afternoon and evening, turning heavy at times. Parts of the east may stay dry until early nightfall though. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees. South to southwest breezes will be moderate to fresh in strength.
