A mix of sunny spells and scattered showers will occur for the rest of today, some heavy across the eastern half of the country this afternoon. Becoming drier everywhere this evening with fewer showers. The highest temperatures will range from 15 to 19 degrees in a moderate southwest breeze, fresh or strong at times along Atlantic coasts.


Clear spells and well-scattered showers will follow overnight, mainly across the northwest and west. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in moderate west or northwest winds.


A good deal of cloud across the country tomorrow Sunday but with lots of dry weather – just well-scattered showers. Sunny spells in places too though, with the best chance of these across the southeast and east, where it will also be mildest. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 or 20 degrees in a moderate west or northwest breeze.
