Many will have heard of things that fell of the back of a lorry.

Well Meath Live can reveal the tale of a laptop that fell off the top of a car!

Information is being sought on an Apple MacBook Air that was lost on the N52 between Delvin and Kells.

The silver 2020 model with a 13 inch screen had been placed on the roof of a car by a passenger, after the owner and his family stopped to get a drink of water for a sick child around 1.30pm on Saturday.

The owner – who uses the MacBook Air for his work, returned to the area when he became aware of what happened, but there was no sign of the laptop which is locked and encrypted.

A reward is being offered for its return and anyone with information on its whereabouts is being asked to contact Mullingar or Kells Garda Stations.
