DAMIEN O’REILLY; FREE PARKING ESSENTIAL AT DUNBOYNE RAILWAY STATION

Fianna Fáil councillor Damien O’Reilly has submitted the following motion to today’s ( Monday 4 thJuly’22) monthly meeting of the council.

“I call on Meath County Council to write to the Minister for Climate Action,
Communications and Transport, National Transport Authority and Irish Rail requesting
the reinstatement of free parking at Dunboyne train station.”

O Reilly told Meath Live, ‘Today at Dunboyne Train Station, only 11 cars are currently using the 300 space carpark due to the reintroduction of pay for parking.

‘A section of €130million infrastructure left to rot! Such a waste.’
