Revellers leaving nightclubs were horrified when they were caught up in a huge brawl that erupted between Ludlow Street and Market Square around 2.30 am Sunday morning.
A gang of men wielding baseball bats had begun attacking a rival group and door staff from a number of premises also became involved.
A Garda spokesperson told Meath Live, ‘Gardaà have arrested and charged a man in his 30s, following a public order incident, that occurred on Market Square, Navan, at approximately 2:50 am Sunday 14th August 2022.
‘He is due to appear before Trim District Court on the 6th September 2022.’
