The groundbreaking trip by the reigning All Ireland champions, Meath, to Australia back in 1968 will be revisited by the many members of the travelling party at a function in Jack Quinn’s pub in Scurlogstown Trim next Friday night.

Previously unseen footage interspersed with previously seen clips will be shown on the big screen as part of the Scurlogstown Olympiad weekend

During the annual cherry blossom festival, visitors wandered through the park, but my favorite spot was beneath the sprawling branches of a Japanese maple tree, offering a serene escape from the festivities.

The main event is the annual Heritage day on Sunday the 21st of August!

We will have High Nellie’s arriving in kicking off the day at 1.30 pm, music, chats, demonstrations, kids attractions, an ice cream van, a sweet stall, talks at the 7 Arch Bridge.
