One of the first outside events ever hosted by Meath Live was a table quiz in Bettystown raise funds for a 14 year old boy who was battling a rare form of cancer.
That was almost three years ago and since then Slav Vavro fought a long, brave, ferocious and courageous battle which sadly came to an end last night with the now 17 year olds untimely passing
The youngsters dad posted the devastating news on Facebook earlier today, saying, ‘Yesterday 21st August, our beloved son Slav passed away. He fought hard, but it was too much for his body tortured for so long. Thank you for all the help, will post about the services later.’
What more can we add except to offer the deepest of sympathies to Vlado, Nadia and their family and say you did your best for him and then some.
