The County Morgue at Our Lady’s Hospital in Navan will close tomorrow.
The Ireland East Hospital Group says it has received €800,000 in funding from HSE Estates for the refurbishment of the Mortuary.
The premises will be closed from tomorrow until November.
For this period the service will be diverted to a local operator.
The IEHG says the hospital is working with all the relevant stakeholders to make sure the service continues uninterrupted until November.
