Three young Navan women are to do their first ever skydive on October 16th to raise funds for a proposed new addiction centre in the town.

Ebony Boland, Caoimhe Boyle and Sarah Hannon will all jump alongside a qualified instructor at the Irish Parachute Club in Offaly on Sunday, October 16th.

Sarah told Meath Live, ‘Tabor House is a men’s addiction treatment centre that aims to help men in early recovery. They are now looking to open a women’s facility in Navan (Called Misneach). They already have the land (on the Slane road) and are now looking to raise funds to start building it.

‘Ninety-four-year-old Sister Catherine, who founded Tabor House in 2005 is desperate to start building as soon as possible .

‘Not a lot of people know that Tabor House is trying to build this facility and it would be a chance for us to raise more funds. We really just want to get this fundraiser out there and shared as much as possible so we can raise as much as we can for Tabor House to build this women’s centre.’
