Di O’Gorman has been busy with her colleagues of Féili na bPáisti, organising a free night of fun and entertainment with the upcoming

Halloween  festivities ,this Saturday,29th October in Navan

Based up in the O’Mahony’s grounds on Brews Hill, there will be plenty to keep the kids and families occupied with Arts & Craft Stalls and many ghoulish stories.

The events kicks off around 4 pm.

Music will be provided by local bands.

Then from about 6.00 pm there will be a parade through the town.

Last year there was over 250 people attended and Di is hopeful of a big turnout.

‘Its a chance to get the community involved in the town and we have put a big effort into getting a great night

for everyone to enjoy.

‘We have also got local organisations  such as Navan Educate and Meath Youth Federation involved

It will be fun for all and all the kids will get ‘Trick or Treat’ goody bag.’

They’ve been been busy around the town gathering interest and support from local businesses.

‘We want to get as many people involved so we want to get the message out there’
