Meath’s first Cuidiú branch was founded earlier this summer and are having an official launch
party this Halloween this Saturday from 2pm to 4pm at Ashbourne Youth Centre.

Cuidiú is a parent to parent support charity run by volunteers who provide
care and support to all parents with bumps, babes, toys or teens.

Despite still being in its infancy, the Meath branch has secured a community grant and county
council discretionary funding to assist with the purchasing of supplies to facilitate Parentlink
meetups and Bumps2Babes evenings and breastfeeding support meetings. One particularly
worthwhile item purchased is a Spectra S1 hospital grade breast pump, that will be made
available to any members who find themselves needing it during those early days and weeks of
their breastfeeding journey.

The official branch launch/Halloween party will take place on Saturday 29th of October in
Ashbourne. Cuidiú members and non-members are welcome to join in the fun on the day.
