One person has been seriously injured in a two car crash on the N2 between Slane and Ashbourne earlier today.
A Garda spokesperson said, “Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a two vehicle road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 8:50am this morning on the N2 between Rathfeigh Cross and Balrath Cross, Co. Meath.
“Two males and two females (all in their 20s) have been conveyed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda for treatment, one of them with serious injuries.
“The road is currently closed pending a technical examination with local diversions in place.”
