A teacher who worked for many years in Navans St Pats Classical school has passed away suddenly at her Navan home.

The death has occurred of Ethna Cantwell (née Croskery)
Hand’s Lane, Windtown, Navan, Meath, C15 X2FN / Dublin

Formerly of Co. Dublin.

Retired teacher (St. Patrick’s Classical School, Navan).

Suddenly, peacefully at her home.

Predeceased by her husband John.(He was also a popular teacher at St. Patrick’s Classical School and involved with the former Boyne Valley Greyhound Track)

Ethna will be very sadly missed by her children Barry, Ruth and Johnny and her adored granddaughters Grace, Nóra and Rose, her partner Mack, daughter-in-law Mairéad, her sisters Sinéad and Fionnuala, brothers Kevin and Colm, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her residence on Thursday from 2pm to 7pm. Removal on Friday morning at 9.15am to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Navan for Funeral Mass at 10am which can be viewed on https://www.navanparish.ie/livestream. Burial afterwards in St.Mary’s Cemetery, Boyne Road, Navan.
