DON’T FORGET YOUR SHOVEL IF YOU WANT TO TURN A SOD

How many government ministers does it take to change a light bulb ?

We don’t know but as the picture above shows it apparently takes three to turn the first sod on the new water supply for Ashbourne, Kilbride and Ratoath.

And Aontú councillor Emer Tóibín is not convinced that all three of Thomas Byrne, Darragh O’Brien and Helen McEntee were required to do the needful.

She took to Twitter to say, ‘We welcome news that sod was turned on the contract to provide reliable water supply to Ratoath Kilbride & Ashbourne. But do 3 MINISTERS really need to pose for photos & hold a shovel’
