The best that can be said about former Offaly manager Pat Flanagan’s stint as manager of Ballinabrackey senior footballers is that he never lost a match.

Mind you he never managed them in one either as the club announced via social media last night that Flanagan had quit after just FOUR DAYS in the job.

They posted, ‘Ballinabrackey GAA wish to note its disappointment in the news that our manager for 2023, Pat Flanagan lasted only 4 days in the job after meeting the players and executives to finalise the coming year’

Coincidentally shortly after that appeared on Twitter Newbridge based club, Sarsfields,  tweeted an announcement that Flanagan was there new manager.

The grass is clearly greener in the short grass county!
