One lucky Meath punter received a decent Christmas present after discovering they had won €50,000 in the EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ draw.
The National Lottery are urging players nationwide to check their weekend lottery tickets following big wins in last weekend’s EuroMillions and Lotto draws.
On Friday night (23rd December), ten separate players scooped €50,000 each in the EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ draw.
Two players in Dublin, two players in Kerry and one player in Limerick, Kilkenny, Galway, Cork, Kildare and Meath all scooped the special raffle prize which was last of twelve draws in the National Lottery’s ’12 Draws of Christmas’ EuroMillions promotion.
The winning ticket was bought in the Applegreen filling station on the Longwood road in Trim.
