An OAP was badly hurt after a car struck him while he as out cycling in Kilcloon.
A Garda spokesperson said, ‘Gardaí are appealing for information following a hit and run in Meath in which a cyclist in his 70s was seriously injured.
‘The victim was struck by a vehicle on the L2214, Kilcloon to Maynooth Road around 1.20pm on Thursday December 8th last.
A Garda spokesman said, ‘In particular, Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have aided the man shortly after the collision to come forward.
‘Witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage from the area, at the time, are being asked to contact Ashbourne Garda Station on 01 8010600 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.’
