Navan RFC Senior Men’s team got their 2023/2024 season off to a good start with a win over Leinster North-East Area club Skerries.
This was the first fixture for head coach, Jason Harris-Right in his maiden fixture for the Senior team. A good start is half the battle they say
and hopefully it bids well for the season.
   .
A brace of tries from full-back Rory Gordon along with tries from winger Paddy Fox, hooker Anthony Martinez and back-rowers Harry Beggy & Harry Hester set Navan on the way with successful conversation kicks each from both Gordon & Mark Farrell adding to the home sides total.
Despite a strong second half from the visitors from Fingal, the home side were too well drilled and took the win.
