The new Lidl store in Bettystown officially opened its doors for the first time this morning.
The food giants energy efficient designed store has led to the creation of 30 new jobs in the town.
Lidl already employs over 110 people in Co. Meath across its shops in Ashbourne, Clonee, Dunshaughlin, Trim and Navan.
And as if by magic young Cillian O’Connor who wowed audiences on Britain’s Got Talent cut the ribbon at the official opening at 8am this morning.
