The funeral arrangements have been confirmed for the late Meath County Councillor Damien O’Reilly.
The Fianna Fáil councillor, who represented the Ratoath Municipal District, will repose at his home in the Mullagh tomorrow (Wednesday) from 4pm until 7pm.
His funeral mass will take place on Thursday morning at 11am in Saints Peter and Paul’s Church in Dunboyne with burial afterwards in the cemetery of The Church of the Nativity, Moynalvey, Summerhill.
The 40-year old fell ill last Saturday morning and is understood to have been on his way to meet an ambulance when his car left the road near Dunboyne and he passed away suddenly.
Books of condolences have been opened in Dunboyne, Dunshaughlin and at the council offices in Navan for people to pay their respects to the late councillor.
He is survived by his fiancée Lisa, daughter Carly, stepson Kyle and mother Phil.
