Navan Senior Men’s travelled up north to Belfast looking to get a first win in this second block of games in this seasons Energia All-Ireland League Division 2A campaign. Facing a Malone side that was so far propping up the league table, Navan had hope that they could come out with something in this fixture.
Unfortunately in a display that included errors and a lack of a cutting edge, they came up against a home side with renewed determination to try and get first win of the season.
In a game that ended up being an arm wrestle with scores going back and forth, Malone came out on top with the slimmest of winning margins. Navan traveled home with just a losing bonus point but will not rest on their laurels as they next entertain fellow Leinster side Greystones at home in Balreask Old on Saturday next (18th November) with a 2@30pm kick-off.
