Rathkenny star Donal Keogan, who inspired his side to IFC success, has been named footballer of the year in the Meath GAA awards which were announced this morning.


Here is the full list of the awards and Meath Live was especially delighted for referee award winner Andrew Smith as we saw him turn in a couple of exceptional perfprmances over the season.

Young Hurler of the Year – Kyle Ennis (Trim)
Referee of the Year – Andrew Smith (Dunshaughlin)
Most Improved Referee – Robert Purfield (St Patrick’s)
Grounds of the Year – Walterstown
Club of the Year – Kildalkey
