There was great excitement in Navan Library this week for the official launch of Cruinniú na nÓg
2024 in Meath. Cathaoirleach, Cllr. Tommy Reilly joined Director of Services Barry Lynch, County
Librarian Maedhbh Rogan-McGann, Events Co-ordinator Eve Morrisson, Creative Communities
Engagement Officer Emma Prunty, and children from junior infants to second class from Flowerfield
National School.

Funded by the Creative Ireland Programme, Cruinniú na nÓg is a national day of free creative activity
for children and young people. This year Cruinniú na nÓg will take place on Saturday, June 15th.
Meath’s programme of events will centre around East Meath, Navan, and Trim. The theme this year
is Dare to Create, and Creative Ireland is calling on all young people to get creative, try something
new, and show off their skills.

All Cruinniú na nÓg events are free of charge, child-centred, and activity-based. It’s a day for lots of
doing, making, and creating!
